Hello there.
It`s a first day when I have decided to create blog for sailors or people who dream about sailing. Hope I will find some good information for you.
Few words about me.
My sailing life begun in year 2006. My dad was sailing for a second season already and he had invited me many times on the board, but as I didn`t understand what is sailing i refused. After long time of invitations I have decided to try. First boat was 1/4 tonn Bermuda Sloop. Weather was just for a good sailing, sun was shining and we had a good wind. My dad explained me basics os the boat (I`ll post everything about basics of sailing in next few posts) and gave me to try to handle a boat. Once I have tried that i loved that.
After that I started to learn theory of sailing and boats. I coludn`t even imagine that there`s such a crazy amount of theory what I need to cover, but I was reading and learning. After some time I started to sail with different teams on a different boats. I practised the theory. I wisited a lot of captain meetengs in the winter period.
In winter 2007 me and my dad decided to take a part in races cause we bothare passionate about speed and extreme sports. First racing boat was 51feet bermuda sloop called Sparta. I met a plenty of interesting people around that boat and got an experience....
It was good times, but I in 2009 i left my country and moved to England. Since that time I didn`t sail.
Now I`m starting over again....
